Struggling With Gym Intimidation?

We Make Fitness
Empowering & Fun!
Much More Than a Philadelphia Personal Trainer

Birth of Train & Nourish

As a Female Personal Trainer in Philadelphia, I noticed my clients often felt “gymtimidation” (being intimidated by weights and working out in front of others.)
I also realized most women relied almost solely upon cardio machines, fearing strength training would make them bulky, leaving them bored and without results.
So I created Train & Nourish, a private, women-only studio where women could embrace weight training, gain strength, sculpt their bodies, and build confidence in a supportive, empowering space.
Start where you are and thrive on your fitness journey.
Trusted by Women in Philadelphia

“All the trainers create a comfortable place where you can ask questions, learn form and new exercises, and work on your fitness goals. It is where I go to destress and dedicate time for me.”
“T&N Studio is a place I can finally call home. I tried a lot of gyms and studios in the city, and nothing felt right until I came here.”
“I have never felt more welcomed and comfortable in a fitness situation.”

Personal Training FAQs
How often should I attend personal training sessions for optimal results?
The frequency of sessions depends on your individual goals, schedule, and fitness level. Typically, clients see positive results with 2-3 sessions per week, but your trainer will help determine the best plan for you.
Can I choose the time and days for my personal training sessions?
Yes, we strive to accommodate your schedule. During your initial consultation, we’ll discuss your availability, and our team will work with you to find suitable times for your personal training sessions.
How can I track my progress throughout the personal training program?
Your personal trainer will regularly assess your progress, including strength gains, and overall fitness improvements. We also encourage open communication, so you can share your experiences and any concerns during your sessions. We do not support weight or body measurements as progress. Your energy, strength and confidence levels are most important.
What can I expect from a personal training consultation?
You will come into the studio in workout clothes for a 30 minute appointment. The first 10-12 minutes will be spent telling your coach about your exercise history, your goals, any previous injuries and what you want to accomplish together. This session is all about YOU. Then you’ll go through a quick 5 minute fitness assessment in order for your coach to understand your form and know how to start your program. Then, your coach will help you decide what you want to do going forward.
