Aislinn Tobin

Personal Trainer
Class Instructor

Ais (pronounced Ash) graduated in 2021 with a BA in Public Policy from West Chester University. Nutrition Policy became her focal point. Through her college career, Ais found solace in lifting weights. After experiencing a freshman “40” (pounds), Ais wasn’t happy with her mental state- let alone her physical appearance. The gym quickly became a therapeutic place to find an outlet for volatile emotions, quiet intrusive thoughts, and rebuild a relationship with herself and her body. Ais feels most fulfilled by helping other women start their weightlifting journey, finding an empowering routine that dually supports your bodily autonomy as you continue to mature and age. Going beyond the workout and learning the thought process behind programming and form, Ais will make sure to effectively challenge and exhaust you each workout without prolonged soreness .Outside of the gym, Ais loves to find ways to stay moving! She plays in a weekly recreational kickball league and lacrosse league. Aside from keeping active, Ais is a massive nerd! She boasts her comic book collection and a love for cartoons. She still harbors hope that her superpowers will show up one day, but until then she continues to train like an Avenger.

Kianna Barbarisi

Personal Trainer
Class Instructor

Kianna is currently pursuing a bachelors of science in computer science at Temple University. Upon the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and beginning college, she started to feel unhappy with her health and her body image. As such, Kianna began pursuing lifting and working out as a way to improve these feelings and to feel confident with her body image. However, she quickly learned that she desired more than the rotation of excessive cardio, unhealthy ways of dieting, and light weightlifting that she had been doing. She took initiative and got into powerlifting, which became an essential part of her daily routine. Due to her passion for lifting weights, she then was inspired to get her certification in personal training. It is because of the significance that powerlifting and exercise has had on improving her quality of life that she wanted to share this passion with others. Most importantly, she wants to empower women to embrace their strength and encourage body positivity. In helping women to achieve their personal goals with exercise and fitness, she hopes to help them reclaim their power and embrace the beauty that each one of them has.
